Discover the cultural similarities and differences in the countries of the partner schools.
Age group: from 4th grade
In this activity, students discover other cultures. They notice the similarities and differences between countries.
Start from the similarities to show some of the differences. Don’t focus on the school and the students but on the country and culture.
- You can prepare the lesson in different ways.
- You can prepare the activity with a partner teacher by calling, e-mailing, or through social media... This way, you can agree on how the activity should take place in both classrooms or schools.
- You can also prepare the lesson yourself by doing online research. There are countless websites that explain countries and their cultures. Or you can combine both methods.
Below you will find a number of sources about countries and their cultures. Try to consult multiple sources as each website has different emphases:
